Caramel Buttercream
Icing
Ingredients
1/3 cup solid vegetable shortening
1/3 cup butter
2/3 cup caramel ice cream topping
1tsp pure vanilla extract
4 cups icing sugar
Method
1. Cream shortening and butter together with
mixer. Add ice cream topper and vanilla. Gradually add sugar, one cup at a
time, beating well on medium speed, mixture will appear dry. Add milk and beat
well on medium again.
2. Keep icing covered with a damp cloth
until ready to use.
